How the Prize Bond Schedule is Organized
National Savings of Pakistan issues prize bonds in several denominations, and their draws are organized and scheduled on a quarterly basis. The draws are managed by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), which uses automated draw systems to pick the winning serial numbers randomly and transparently. Each denomination rotates draws four times a year.
Denomination Quarterly Cycles
To keep the draws manageable, the denominations are split into different month groups throughout the year:
- Rs. 100 & Rs. 200: Draws take place in January, April, July, and October.
- Rs. 750 & Rs. 1500: Draws take place in February, May, August, and November.
- Rs. 25,000 Premium & Rs. 40,000 Premium: Registered Premium prize bond draws take place in March, June, September, and December.
Rotating Draw Cities
The State Bank of Pakistan rotates the draw venue across major SBP offices throughout the country, ensuring all regions participate in hosting these public events. The draws are held in cities like Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Quetta, Multan, Faisalabad, and Hyderabad.
